2021-02-17 19:14 UTC codar turned transmit OFF due to high reflected power. Will return to site after next week with new guy lines. Handel 2021-02-23 17:22 UTC codar visited site due to high vswr. expected too find tx antenna down, but it was still up. turned transmit on and vswr back to nominal levels. I replaced the guy lines for now and checked all connections, which seemed tight. Will monitor. TX back ON for now. Handel 2021-02-23 23:34 UTC codar turned transmitter back off due to high reflected power. Will return to site. hand out 2021-02-24 17:29 UTC codar visited site again after vswr jumped up after I left yesterday. Tried reterminating both ends of tx cable, but that didn't fix it. tried bypassing lightning pro kit, but that didn't fix it either. lowered antenna and ran new feed wire with external tuning wraps to replace original inner one, and that seem to have fixed the reflected power issue for now. Handel 2021-02-25 14:32 UTC codar turned transmit back off due to high reflected power again. problem must be in lightnighting arrestor and not feed wire. Handel 2021-03-03 18:50 UTC codar visited site due to reflected power umping up again. Suspect base collar lightning arrestor is the issue, not the feed wire, so I swapped out the tx base with a spare and went back to using inner feed wire. VSWR now back down to 1:1, ~40W out, and 0 reflected at 4.48MHz with 5dB attenuation. Handel 2021-03-05 03:07 UTC codar turned transmit off due to high reflected power. Handel 2021-03-05 19:29 UTC codar visited site due to reflected power spiking again. Swapped out tuning coil (and upper antenna section with top hat). VSWR back down to <2. Xmitting ~53W with 4dB atten. Handel
